Solo Escape To Serenity : My Travel Journey To Urmodi Dam Satara

Urmodi Dam 

I had always wanted to go on a solo trip, and Urmodi Dam near Satara was the perfect choice. Just 14 km from Satara, it's located near Parali village at the base of Sajjangad Fort - peaceful and easy to  reach.

I rode my two-wheeler and reached n about two hours. The best time to visit is during the monsoon(June to September),when the dam is full and surroundings are lush green .November to February is also pleasant with mild weather.

As soon as I arrived, I felt a deep sense of calm. There were no crowds or noise - just the soothing sound o water. I took some photos and videos while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Nearby attractions include Sajjangad Fort, Varjai and Thoseghar Waterfall, and Kas Plateau. there are local hotels and tent stays for longer visit.

Since mine was a one-day trip, I had a quick meal nearby and returned home feeling refreshed. After many months, this solo trip was truly special. If you're planning one, I highly recommend visiting Urmodi Dam.
